Over the years the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society has become a rich and powerful corporation. They got most of their money by soliciting the backing and financial support of men. This action is in direct defiance of an edict issued in the second issue of the Watchtower (August 1879)by it’s founder Pastor C.T. Russell aka “The Faithful and Discreet Slave”. Pastor Russell made it clear that the mission of The watchtower was to announce Jehovah’s Kingdom. This mission would be accomplished in a very simple way. Jehovah was viewed as the sole backer of the Watchtower Society and it would be HE that funded the watchtower. Solicitations for funding would not be made to men. The backing and funding was to come from Jehovah directly and if funds were begged from people, then the time had come to suspend the printing operations due to Jehovah ceasing to back the Society. In the November 1 issue of the 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005 issues of the Watchtower, ads were placed in the magazine directing people to send money and valuables to Brooklyn Headquarters as donations in backing of the Watchtower. The Watchtower also maintains a very busy Charitible Planning Office where agents work tirelessly at obtaining the Insurance, Bank Accounts, Stocks/Bonds, and other valuables from people they come into contact with. Besides that, for people’s convenience one need only go online and send the Watchtower cash electronically via a website they own, operate and maintain. My point is a simple one. If the need has come to beg people for money, then it is time to shut the doors to the Watchtower.

Tenco was born in Cassine (province of Alessandria), the son of Teresa Zoccola and Giuseppe Tenco. He never knew his father, who died in unclear circumstances. It has been rumoured that Luigi Tenco was the fruit of an extramarital relationship of his mother. Tenco spent his childhood in Cassine and Ricaldone until 1948, when he moved to Liguria, first to Nervi and then to Genoa, where his mother had a wine shop. During high school, Tenco founded the Jerry Roll Morton Boys Jazz band, in which Tenco played the clarinet and another singer, later to become famous, Bruno Lauzi, the banjo. Gino Paoli, also a future famous Italian singer-songwriter, was a member of the later Tenco band, I Diavoli del Rock (The Rock Devils). Tenco made his debut in the world of Italian professional music with the band I Cavalieri (The Knights), which included Giampiero Reverberi and Enzo Jannacci amongst others. During this period he used the pseudonym Gigi Mai. In 1961 Tenco released his first single under his real name, entitled “Quando” (”When”). In 1962 Tenco began a short-lived cinematic experience, with Luciano Salce’s movie La Cuccagna. He also collaborated on the soundtrack to the film. During this period he also formed a strong friendship with the Genoese anarchist poet Riccardo Mannerini. In 1963, however, his friendship with Gino Paoli broke up, due to a troubled relationship with the actress Stefania Sandrelli. Tenco’s first LP was released in 1962, Ballate E Canzoni. One of the songs, “Cara Maestra” (”Dear Teacher”), was censored by the then thriving Italian media censorship. The censors struck again in the following year, against his songs “Io Sì” (”I Do”) and “Una Brava Ragazza” (”A Nice Girl”). In 1966, suffering through a period of compulsory military service, he released Un Giorno Dopo L’Altro (One Day After Another) for RCA. In Rome during the same year, he met and befriended the Italo-French singer Dalida. The two were eventually to become lovers. In 1967 he took part in the Italian Song Festival in Sanremo. It was rumoured that he participated against his will. The song he presented was “Ciao Amore Ciao” (”Hello Love, Hello”), which he sang together with Dalida. Tenco allegedly committed suicide on January 27, after learning that his song had been eliminated from the final competition. Tenco was found in his hotel room with a bullet wound in his left temple and a note announcing that his gesture was against the jury and public’s choices during the competition. Only days earlier Tenco’s wedding to Dalida had been announced. It was she who discovered his body. Tenco was buried in Ricaldone. In 1974 the Tenco Award was instituted, and has been held every year since in Sanremo. Many of the most renowned Italian singer-songwriters from the 1970s declared explicitly the influence of Tenco on their work. Francesco De Gregori’s album Bufalo Bill of 1976 contained a song, “Festival”, about Tenco’s suicide; it points out the hypocrisy with which the music establishment tried to minimize the dramatic event, in order to let the show go on. The French television channel TV5 recently carried a full-length dramatization of the love affair of Tenco and Dalida. Tenco was played by Alessandro Gassman while Dalida was played by Sabrina Ferilli. The Italian judicial system later began re-examinining Luigi Tenco’s suicide. It was pointed out that the bullet hole was on the left temple, while the singer was right-handed. It had also been revealed that no autopsy had been done on the singer’s corpse, and no calligraphic analysis on the suicide note with which he explained his final gesture. On 15 February 2006, Italian police exhumed Tenco’s body for further investigation.[1] The next day, results from the new autopsy and ballistics analysis were reported. According to Italian experts, what had been thought to be the entry hole on the left temple was actually the exit site. The bullet trajectory was said to be compatible with suicide.

However, it took the National Enquirer a year of nonstop true journalism to give the American people the truth about John Edwards. The rest of the so-called “reputable mainstream” news organizations ignored and covered up the truth about John Edwards. Proof once again that the mainstream news organizations are run by biased liberals! ——- I feel sorry for John Edward’s wife since my mother went through the physical and mental hell of breast cancer treatment. Also, I feel sorry for John Edward’s children . Come on world… We are in a very dangerous situation here. There are enough Nuclear Weapons on this planet, to blow us out of the universe. The ‘Sanctions’ being imposed against Iran, will result in grievous harm (and death) to the innocent civilian population of that country. You only have to look at the harm that ‘less severe Sanctions’ caused to the Iraqi People. It is very possible that the Sanctions imposed against Iran, will force it to resort to taking Military Action against Israel and the Coalition Forces in Iraq. If that happens… avoiding a Nuclear War may well be beyond us ! We need to act NOW… in unison, as a World Community… to prevent such a ‘catastrophe’ occurring. Yes… Iran should be prevented from acquiring Nuclear Weapons (assuming that is its goal)… and if Sanctions are to remain in place for Iran… they should also be imposed against Israel, for its manufacturing of Nuclear Weapons, and the ‘illegal Occupation of Palestine’ (and prior to that, Lebanon). Sanctions should also be imposed against the United States, for the Military Support that it provides to the ‘Terrorist Nation’ of Israel, and for the Invasion of Iraq against the wishes of the International Community ! I’m not trying to stir up trouble here, OK ! I want only what is best for a Peaceful World. President Bush’s ‘War against Terror’… and the Support provided to Israel, by the United States… and now, with the imposing of extremely severe Sanctions against Iran… ‘Peace’ may likely be a word that the children of tomorrow will never know the meaning of !!! PLEASE… Let us work together, to become One World… One Voice… United for Peace.
