Honestly, this is a little hypocrisy, because I hate life, it is so pointless. But not because I hate life itself, or because I hate being alive, but because people make life miserable for themselves and everybody else. Hopefully these videos will help people help themselves and others, and the world might become just a bit warmer.

A new campaign video, “McCain’s Mansions: The Real Elitist,” attempts to make a case that John McCain, who owns ten expensive house and flies around Arizona in his wife’s private jet, is the true elitist in this fall’s election.
The video, produced by Brave New Films in cooperation with the AFL-CIO and the Service Employees International Union, intercuts images of McCain’s pricey residences and clips from his statements about the mortgage crisis with the account of a woman who lost her home because, even with her and her husband working four jobs, they were unable to meet their mortgage payments.
“It was tough to have to pack up and leave the house that we love,” says systems engineer Eileen Gillis. “In the end, our mortage was 15.75% and we could no longer afford to make payments.”
John McCain has boasted in his stump speech of how “homeowners are doing what’s necessary, working a second job, skipping a vacation, and managing their budgets to make their payments on time.”
“If it was really just a matter of skipping vacations!” comments Gillis. “For us, it was a choice between whether we were going to put food on the table or pay the electric bill.”
“Any assistance must be temporary and must not reward people who are irresponsible at the expense of those who weren’t,” McCain has insisted.
“I don’t feel like I did anything irresponsible,” Gillis says. “I did everything that I could to be able to make the payments, and I just couldn’t do it.”
McCain has also stated, “I’ve always been committed to the principle that it’s not the duty of government to bail out and reward those who act irresponsibly.”
“I don’t think unless you get in this situation that you can truly appreciate how hard it is for people,” Gillis concludes.
An item in last week’s National Review attempted to downplay the elitism issue, insisting that elitism “is not necessarily connected with wealth. The very wealthy Bush no doubt was brought up in greater splendor than was Kerry; but fairly or unfairly, he was more at home at NASCAR and Texas than wind-surfing. … McCain looks like an old torn-cat pilot that doesn’t much care what he eats, and Obama tip-toes down a plane’s steps as if he is in a Ralph Lauren ad.”
The National Review further attempted to suggest that the real issue is not elitism but hypocrisy, arguing that wealthy liberals are perceived as hypocrites, while “family values” Republicans can be charged with hypocrisy only if they get caught in sex scandals or abusing drugs and alcohol.
In a similar vein, a spokesperson for the Republican National Committee, asked to comment on the video, responded, “Considering Barack Obama lives in multi-million dollar house bought with the help of his buddy, Tony Rezko, who is now a convicted felon, it’s odd that Obama’s supporters would choose to make the candidates’ homes an issue.”

A body that may very well be the body of the creature commonly known as “Bigfoot” has been found in the woods in northern Georgia.
DNA evidence and photo evidence of the creature will be
presented in a press conference on
Friday, August 15th from 12 Noon to 1:00pm at the Cabana Hotel-Palo Alto at 4290 El Camino Real in Palo Alto, California, 94306. The press conference will not be open to the public. It will only be open to credentialed members of the press.
Here are some of the vital statistics on the “Bigfoot” body:
*The creature is seven feet seven inches tall.
*It weighs over five hundred pounds.
*The creature looks like it is part human and part ape-like.
*It is male.
*It has reddish hair and blackish-grey eyes.
*It has two arms and two legs, and five fingers on each hand and
five toes on each foot.
*The feet are flat and similar to human feet.
*Its footprint is sixteen and three-quarters inches long and five
and three-quarters inches wide at
the heel.
*From the palm of the hand to the tip of the middle finger, its
hands are eleven and three-quarters inches
long and six and one-quarter inches wide.
*The creatures walk upright. (Several of them were sighted on the
same day that the body was found.)
*The teeth are more human-like than ape-like.
*DNA tests are currently being done and the current DNA and photo
evidence will be presented at the press
conference on Friday, August 15th.
The creature was found by Matthew Whitton (AKA Gary Parker) and Rick Dyer (residents of Georgia) in the woods in northern Georgia. (The exact location is being kept secret to protect the creatures.)
Matthew Whitton and Rick Dyer will be flying in from Georgia to be at the press conference. Also present at the press conference will be Tom Biscardi, CEO of Searching for Bigfoot, Inc.
Whitton is a local, Georgia, police officer, who is currently on administrative leave after being wounded in the course of duty pursuing an alleged felon. Dyer is a former correctional officer. Whitton and Dyer are co-owners of bigfoottracker.com and Bigfoot Global LLC., a company that offers Bigfoot expeditions. Whitton and Dyer are working with Bigfoot hunter, Tom Biscardi, and Biscardi’s Searching for Bigfoot, Inc., to present and conduct the scientific study of the evidence and information on this body.
A few weeks ago, Whitton and Dyer announced the finding of the body on the “Squatch Detective” radio show, an internet based radio show hosted by Steve Kulls. While on that show, the commentator asked Rick Dyer “Would you allow one of our people to come down and verify the body?” Dyer replied, “The only person we would allow to come down and verify the body was ‘the real Bigfoot Hunter,’ Tom Biscardi.” The next day, the producer of the Squatch Detective show contacted Biscardi with pertinent information on how to contact Dyer and Whitton.
Extensive scientific studies will be done on the body by a team of scientists including a molecular biologist, an anthropologist, a paleontologist and other scientists over the next few months at an undisclosed location. The studies will be carefully documented and the findings will be released to the world, according to Biscardi.
Biscardi is known as “the real Bigfoot Hunter” because of his extensive investigations out in the field. He has been searching for Bigfoot since 1971 and over the past several years, he has been criss-crossing the United States and Canada tracking down the hottest leads on Bigfoot sightings.
Videography on the studies will be done under the supervision of Scott Davis, an independent producer and owner of TV Biz Productions in Phoenix, Arizona.
Currently, Tom Biscardi and his Searching for Bigfoot Team, in conjunction with Bigfoot Global LLC., are preparing to capture another of these creatures alive. That expedition will start very soon. The dates and the locations are being kept confidential.
The body that is currently being studied is being referred to as the “RICKMAT” creature, a name derived from the names of Rick Dyer and Matthew Whitton.
Last year, a film that Biscardi produced about his investigations, called “Bigfoot Lives,” won first place in the Documentary category at the Pocono Mountains Film Festival. Biscardi also hosts a Bigfoot oriented internet radio show that can be heard on Wednesday nights from 7:00pm to 8:00pm PDT at www.bigfootliveradioshow.com. The show is heard in over thirty countries.

Okay I know I have been putting up a bunch of previews and not finishing them. Its just I feel like I don’t make such nice The Other Boleyn Girl videos. I think I should stick to Pride and Prejudice. I don’t know I’ll see.
Story: Okay well in the beginning where its flashing people, its showing the people that are involved in this video. It then goes to show Mary and Anne in the present time (the color scenes represent present time)
Anne- You stole the king away.
Mary- It was for your own good.
Anne- Really? For my good? While you’re here in the king’s bed.
Both Anne and Mary are married. Anne to Henry Percy and Mary to William Carey. But once the family needs a girl to satisfy the king, both Anne and Mary want to do it. It doesn’t show this in the video but Mary ends up getting the king before Anne because Mary feels that she doesn’t want Anne’s marriage to get hurt. That’s what she means when she says “It was for your own good.” By Anne saying “Really? For my good? While you’re here in the kings bed?” she meant it as in Mary is hypocrite considering she’s ruining her marriage.
After it shows Anne and Mary crying, it goes to William Carey’s POV.
It shows Mary with the King and how the King yells at her and doesn’t treat her well. William remembers all the things he did for Mary and he cant get her out of his head. He remembers catching her with the king. He walks away from her a few times but he still doesn’t know how to let go. He catches her in the Kings room and walks away. Mary doesn’t seem to care what she’s doing to William. She flirts with the king in front of him and doesn’t mind.
The scene where the King is talking to Mary and she laughs. It’s the king telling Mary to tell William that she is in love with the king and him only. So the King listens at the door as Mary tells him. And William of course just takes the news hard and walks away. The rest of the scenes just show him catching her and not getting her out of his head.

Tenco was born in Cassine (province of Alessandria), the son of Teresa Zoccola and Giuseppe Tenco. He never knew his father, who died in unclear circumstances. It has been rumoured that Luigi Tenco was the fruit of an extramarital relationship of his mother.
Tenco spent his childhood in Cassine and Ricaldone until 1948, when he moved to Liguria, first to Nervi and then to Genoa, where his mother had a wine shop. During high school, Tenco founded the Jerry Roll Morton Boys Jazz band, in which Tenco played the clarinet and another singer, later to become famous, Bruno Lauzi, the banjo. Gino Paoli, also a future famous Italian singer-songwriter, was a member of the later Tenco band, I Diavoli del Rock (The Rock Devils).
Tenco made his debut in the world of Italian professional music with the band I Cavalieri (The Knights), which included Giampiero Reverberi and Enzo Jannacci amongst others. During this period he used the pseudonym Gigi Mai. In 1961 Tenco released his first single under his real name, entitled “Quando” (”When”).
In 1962 Tenco began a short-lived cinematic experience, with Luciano Salce’s movie La Cuccagna. He also collaborated on the soundtrack to the film. During this period he also formed a strong friendship with the Genoese anarchist poet Riccardo Mannerini. In 1963, however, his friendship with Gino Paoli broke up, due to a troubled relationship with the actress Stefania Sandrelli.
Tenco’s first LP was released in 1962, Ballate E Canzoni. One of the songs, “Cara Maestra” (”Dear Teacher”), was censored by the then thriving Italian media censorship. The censors struck again in the following year, against his songs “Io Sì” (”I Do”) and “Una Brava Ragazza” (”A Nice Girl”).
In 1966, suffering through a period of compulsory military service, he released Un Giorno Dopo L’Altro (One Day After Another) for RCA. In Rome during the same year, he met and befriended the Italo-French singer Dalida. The two were eventually to become lovers.
In 1967 he took part in the Italian Song Festival in Sanremo. It was rumoured that he participated against his will. The song he presented was “Ciao Amore Ciao” (”Hello Love, Hello”), which he sang together with Dalida. Tenco allegedly committed suicide on January 27, after learning that his song had been eliminated from the final competition. Tenco was found in his hotel room with a bullet wound in his left temple and a note announcing that his gesture was against the jury and public’s choices during the competition. Only days earlier Tenco’s wedding to Dalida had been announced. It was she who discovered his body.
Tenco was buried in Ricaldone. In 1974 the Tenco Award was instituted, and has been held every year since in Sanremo. Many of the most renowned Italian singer-songwriters from the 1970s declared explicitly the influence of Tenco on their work. Francesco De Gregori’s album Bufalo Bill of 1976 contained a song, “Festival”, about Tenco’s suicide; it points out the hypocrisy with which the music establishment tried to minimize the dramatic event, in order to let the show go on.
The French television channel TV5 recently carried a full-length dramatization of the love affair of Tenco and Dalida. Tenco was played by Alessandro Gassman while Dalida was played by Sabrina Ferilli.
The Italian judicial system later began re-examinining Luigi Tenco’s suicide. It was pointed out that the bullet hole was on the left temple, while the singer was right-handed. It had also been revealed that no autopsy had been done on the singer’s corpse, and no calligraphic analysis on the suicide note with which he explained his final gesture.
On 15 February 2006, Italian police exhumed Tenco’s body for further investigation.[1] The next day, results from the new autopsy and ballistics analysis were reported. According to Italian experts, what had been thought to be the entry hole on the left temple was actually the exit site. The bullet trajectory was said to be compatible with suicide.

ASHES TO ASHES -AAMIR AS AAMIR
a songless psychological political thriller about the pathological state of indian youth in the aftermath of gross injustice .
the director is abhi b. and he directs aamir in his best performance to date -this dark movie is set in the bizarre twilight zone of the degenerate and venomous world of the Bombay underworld ,where there is only one vice that rules-might is right,
it’s protagonists search for their own existence in alignment with their ideals for justice and an uneven fairplay and use each other as pawns in a game of violence and corruption .
Amir is a rebellious scion of a well to do muslim family who in a rash act of rage provokes the gang rape of his hindu girlfriend by a group of mafia men .
The graphic unsentimentality of the act at night in a desolate public spot is chilling .
The relationship breakS up ,the girl shuns him and her indifference to any mode of justice drives the youth to extremes ,he elopes and lives with social outcasts,where he is helped by a rather shady cop who works outside the parameters of judiciary.
Amir is totally natural and very affective as the angry,violent and impulsive youth ,this is his definitive best act as yet and he needs to go back to his roots as this was his second movie itself,his raw dynamic talent resounds in every scene and the minimalist cinema with expressionist photography enhances his violent deadly role,he is matched by the rather insanely dishonest cop played by Pankaj Kapur and Supraya Pathak as the rape victim who blames him for the incidence in a powerful role,the police are indifferent as there are no witnesses and the victim will not report the crime ,although it is acknowledged .
the brilliant young director has a frustrating setting for a social comment on a grim subject,the perception of acquisition of justice and the means to aquire it ,both are unimportant as the net result is more violence and the act leads to anarchy and nihilism,this is a very profoundly affective cinema beautifully shot with minimal dialogues and light ,the brooding shadows reflect the title itself which refers to the ashes of the remnants of the living characters in a metaphor as their existence has been reduced to a void which can never be filled .
The finale is bleak and the desperation of the human existence is shown to be damned forever with no hope of redemption ,the conclusion is left open to the audience .
This is an anthology of violence ,justice and lost youth within the framework of an unjust social hypocrisy where law is invalid and might is right ,that might be unreasonable but it could be a universal truth ,nevertheless Abhi and Amir create a dark masterpiece which goes beyond it’s baroque ,brooding beauty with hypnotically lit frames that remind you of the psychological impact and spirituality of the works by Caravaggio and La Tour ,an eerie light that explores the human soul and questions it’s conscience ,the answer is inconclusive but still great cinema .

Sam Dunn is a 30-year old anthropologist who wrote his graduate thesis on the plight of Guatemalan refugees. Recently he has decided to study the plight of a different culture, one he has been a part of since he was a 12-year old: the culture of heavy metal. Sam sets out on a global journey to find out why this music has been consistently stereotyped, dismissed and condemned and yet is loved so passionately by its millions of fans. Along the way, Sam explores metals’ obsession with some of life’s most provocative subjects - sexuality, religion, violence and death - and discovers some things about the culture that even he can’t defend. Shot on location in the UK, Germany, Norway, Canada and the US, this documentary is the first of its kind. It is both a defense of a long-misunderstood art form and a window for the outsider into the spectacle that is heavy metal. This is nowhere close to a perfect documentary about Metal. It fails to mention and study many influential artists one being my favorite band Hypocrisy and it’s founder Peter Tägtgren, it doesn’t give Black Metal the respect it deserves, and it’s too short! Other than that it’s a well put together documentary, one of a kind. If you find the film too lacking at all, Sam Dunn said himself that the movie would have been nearly 8 hours but Seville Pictures only let him make an hour and a half long film.

Yano is a folk/punk rock band in the Philippines formed in 1993. The band members were originally composed of Dong Abay (vocals) and Eric Gancio (guitars). Onie Badiang later joined them as bassist; Nowie Favila was the usual drummer but declined to join the group due to commitments with Ang Grupong Pendong. Other drummers of the band included Nonong Timbalopez, Harley Alarcon and Jun Nogoy. The band got their name when Abay looked through an entry in “Talahulugang Pilipino”, an old Tagalog dictionary. “Yano” in Tagalog means “simple”, a term often used by Tagalog speakers in Quezon. The group was disbanded in 1997 after Dong Abay left the band.
Yano’s music was well known for their political and social themes. Their songs censure religious hypocrites like in Banal Na Aso, Santong Kabayo (Tagalog for Holy Dog, Saintly Horse), corrupt politicians in Trapo (colloquial, pejorative term for traditional politicians, also literally translates to “dust rag”), the lingo of the Philippine’s elite in Coño Ka P’re (”You’re a coño”) and abusive capitalists in “Mc’Jo” (alluding to the fastfood chain McDonald’s where Abay once worked as a crew member).
Yano’s songs also narrate the situation of Philippine society during the 1990s. Kumusta Na? (”How are you?”) discusses the condition of the Filipino masses after the 1986 EDSA Revolution while the novelty-styled song Kaka tells a story of a person named Kaka, who is having difficulty in finding things in the dark after a power outage, a reference to the frequent blackouts in the Philippines during the early 1990s. The song Bawal (”prohibited”) speaks about the effects of rules or laws with excessive restrictions to the point where it leads to suppression of freedom and love. Abno, also known as Abnormal Environmental, tackles the environment while Kaklase (”classmate”) focuses on students facing maltreatment by their teachers. Another social relevant song, Mercy, tells about the story of a crazy peddler in the Philippines known as a taong grasa (”greasy person”).
Abay’s experiences as a student at the University of the Philippines, enabled him to write songs in dismay of their school like in State U and their life in the university, such as Esem (in reference to the SM City North EDSA mall, which is about a mile away from the UP Diliman campus) and Iskolar Ng Bayan (”The Nation’s Scholar”). They also made some love songs in their music like Senti (short for “sentimental”) and Paalam Sampaguita (”Goodbye Sampaguita”). The latter also tackles the migration of many Filipinos to other countries to seek better opportunities.
